WHY DID JESUS PAY THE PRICE FOR OUR SIN?
Scriptural Reading: Isaiah 53:1-6
This is a question that every true Christian needs to ponder on. The reckless living in the world today is because people do not care or fully understand why Christ died on the cross. Jesus has nothing to profit from his death on the cross, yet he passed through this road that you and I may not be condemned forever. He bought us back from our condemned state in the kingdom of darkness and gave us a new life; a life that will lead to eternity with Him in heaven. Always remember that a great price has been paid to redeem you so that you can be mindful of your way of life. Submit your weaknesses to the Holy Spirit and prayerfully confess your sins to God. He will lift you up.
MEDITATION:
Scripture says in Matthew 5: 8, Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. If I work towards purity of heart, I will be without
STRATEGIC PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray the prayer of submission to the Holy Spirit, that he may purify your heart.
2. Pray for the forgiveness of your sins and that of family members, friends and those you hold grudges against, especially in the church.
3. Pray for God's mercy on souls of all the faithful departed especially those you can remember.
4. Pray for the Leaders of the Church and of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria
5. Present your private intentions to God

7. Pray the act of consecration to the Holy Spirit
DAILY PROPHETIC PRAYERS
Lord, you are my Shepherd there is nothing I shall want. You make me lie down in green pastures. You also lead me beside the still waters. Lord, you restore my soul and lead me on the path of righteousness for your namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil. For you oh Lord are with me in all situations. Your shepherd rod comforts me with signs and wonders, deliverance and protection in the victorious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
For this reason, I shall neither stumble nor fall. I shall not be a victim of accident, sickness, diseases and untimely death. I shall rise above every limitation and rejoice as you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You oh Lord have anointed my head with oil and has declared to the hearing of my enemies; “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. By the reason of your anointing upon my life oh Lord, my cup overflows with grace, mercy, uncommon favours, divine uplifting and your blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrows in the mighty name of Jesus.
Surely, your goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever and ever in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL AGAINST THE FORCES BEHIND COVID - 19.
Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebukes him, we humbly pray, and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
WE PRAY WITH ST JUDE THE PATRON OF DIFFICULT CASES AGAINST THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS
O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honoureth and invoketh thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases and things almost despaired of.
Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of.
Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly...

...and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.
