GREATER LOVE HAS NO MAN THAN THIS

n February 14, around the year 270 A.O., Valentine, a holy priest in Rome in the days of Emperor Claudius II was executed. Under the rule of Claudius, the Cruel, Rome was involved in many unpopular and bloody campaigns. The emperor had to maintain as a strong army, but was having a difficult time getting soldiers to join his military leagues. Claudius believed that Roman men ·were unwilling to join the army because of their strong attachment to their wives and families.
To get rid of the problem, Claudius banned a11 marriages and engagements in Rome. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death. Valentine was arrested and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off. The sentence was carried out on February 1 4, on or about the year 270 A.D.
Does the life of St Valentine not remind you of the greatest sacrifices on the cross of Calvary? Indeed, no greater love than the fact that Jesus gave himself up for us. Meanwhile, let us live to emulate the love of Christ-like St. Valentine and show the world what true love is.

How have I shown a true example of God’s Love?

Eternal Rock of Ages, the creator of the universe and the origin of all existence, I thank you for bringing us into the year 2021
This year is my year of freshness and fruitfulness, I will overcome every spiritual and economic challenges in the n1ost powerful nan1e of Jesus.
Dearest Lord, you disarmed principalities and powers on the cross of Calvary, you broke the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron asunder. At the mention of your name, let every knee bow, and let demonic strongholds be plundered in the mighty name of Jesus. I uproot what God has not planted and I decree uncommon breakthrough in the mighty name of Jesus.
Oh you doors of grace and divine upliftment, open for me this year 2021 in the victorious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
He that keeps Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. Lord because you keep watch over me, I know I am protected from every harm and danger in the most powerful na111e of Jesus.
I know it is settled
I know I shall testify the goodness of God this year in the mighty of Jesus.
PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL AGAINST THE FORCES BEHIND COVID - 19.
Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebukes him, we humbly pray, and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
WE PRAY WITH ST JUDE THE PATRON OF DIFFICULT CASES AGAINST THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS
O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honoureth and invoketh thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases and things almost despaired of.
Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of.
Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly...

...and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.
